Pizzicato Gourmet Pizza in Portland

This place has an excellent lunch for 8.99 or that consists of a slice of pizza--some of the best in town--and a salad. The portion is quite big and the ambiance is quite delightful and trendy. Definitely a place I would return sin e they understand gluten allergies and work hard to accommodate those needs. They can make a single of a gluten free pizza with delicious choices.

Really dank pizza. Always come for the 8.50$ lunch special that includes a fresh slice and a salad. It's always really clean in there and the staff is friendly and professional. If you're on 23rd and want some good food without out paying boujee prices, go here.

They allow you to get thin crust at this location so you don't get all that bread. We also always get the Par Bake, and we can finish cooking at home. Customer service is always great here.

I love Pizzicato. It's a bit of a different feel at each location, but this one is special. It's been through a lot over the past few months, now reopened after a forced makeover due to a natural gas explosion across the street. I tend to go with the seasonal pizzas like this caprese style slice (can't remember the clever name). But I always compliment a slice with a the pear arugula salad. The lunch special is a great deal. Congrats on reopening, Pizzicato! Convenient and delicious.

Service was great, food arrived quickly, but the pizza sauce was very vinegary, and way too spicy for a BBQ base. The cheese was generous as was the chicken topping. However the GF crust was soft as though under cooked and lacked flavor. I probably won't go back for the GF pizza because of the crust and sauce. Again, the service was great, but the pizza was a disappointment and it's recipe needs greater refinement.

Came in today for a quick bite and our two slices took a tad longer to get but the guys brought them and apologized. As we were finishing, they brought us two more slices to take home for the wait. The gesture was not necessary but so thoughtful. Just had to share. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a terrific joint to have downtown, just keeping it real amongst all the high society places. Menu is dependable and delivers just that. Go for a salad with the pie. You’ll thank me. Wish for better customer service tho at this one!

Fast, fresh, pizza, sandwiches, and salads...and for a comparable price as national pizza chains. They also do pizza by the slice and have gluten free crust by request.

This place is funny. I call for a to go order and the guy puts me on hold for 5 minutes. I hang up and go in to order. The guy in the purple sweatshirt, who acts like he’s drunk and high yet at the same time better than everyone: you work at a pizza store. Get it together, learn how to serve people somewhere else maybe a gas station clerk if you can handle that

Been there many times I like the gourmet pizza it's very similar to New York Pizza. The taste is very close to a real Italian, not like California Pizza with sweet pizza sugary dough. Yes it's very close to Real Italian pizza. I lived in New York for over two years. Thank you

1st pizza joint we checked out and it was so good!!

We drive to Portland just to get this pizza. We have of course get it Par-Bake so we can finish cooking at home. We have no good Pizza out our way.

My sister and I wandered in here while out shopping one day last week. We were starving from walking all over the city. The restaurant was spotless. The gentlemen behind the counter were obviously keeping busy with prep work and cleaning in the kitchen, but greeted us promptly with a smile. He made recommendations as we tried to decide what to order.Then the pizza came out. Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS. The crust was perfect and the toppings were generously and evenly distributed. My sister was in town visiting and we tried three pizza places in the general area, but none of them compared to the flavor and service we received at this establishment. Well done guys. We kept talking about how good it was for days. :-)

Fresh asparagus, bacon, Gorgonzola cheese on a gluten free crust - perfect! IPA on tap. Oregon hard cider very dry. All wrapped up in friendly, helpful service. A perfect afternoon pick-me-up.

Chinese Chop salad with a slice is delicious!!

Mediocre flavors, exorbitant prices, incorrect order. Had to send an order back twice for correction, which they had a poor attitude about. Would not recommend.

Went in at around 4pm on a Tuesday. Only two other customers in the place. Waited 15 minutes and no one came to take my order. Usually don’t get too frustrated but this was the 3rd sort of occasion this has happened. Went to Escape from New York down the block, I was in and out in 3 minutes flat. The guys working at Pizzacato looked super checked out and unresponsive for how slow it was. Not worth the time or customer service for the price point.

Not sure how good it is, but they do have it.-Free Delivery-Always a plus, but kind of expected for a pizza joint.-Price-Paying $25 to $30 for a large pizza is pretty pricey for a pizza joint. I mean they are good, but not $30 good.

One thing that I like about this Pizzicato in particular is how it's not incredibly busy during peak hours. There's an arrangement of seating, too, so you often don't have to sit too close to any other party. It loses a star because the quality of the food feels lower than the other ones. The cheese sticks were extremely bland if you had it without the sauce, and the pizza was unevenly cooked. The food was still good, but I think other locations do it better.

The food was good. I had a sandwich and it was great! The restaurant has a little bit of a downstairs seating area which is bright and open. Great for grabbing a quick lunch with friends while shopping on nw 23rd

My friends enjoyed the vegan pizza very much. I had the pepperoni, it was so good, especially the crust!
